Land Mammals frequently play house parties in Irving. If you don’t already know about that you must not be a cool kid from their school. Get cooler and go to school in Irving, or you can just go to their myspace if that’s easier, and you may learn the secret handshake.

Haha, we got invited to this VIP party at SXSW, which means we’re awesome. Check us out. We’ll update when this turns into us becoming wealthy and distinguished. Seriously though, we’re meeting these guys to try to get our bands into DFest in Tulsa this summer. Will keep you informed…

We will release a compilation/sampler this spring or summer, featuring songs by our main dudes Pet Hospital, Beauxregard, and Land Mammals, plus contributions from friends Nicky, The Slack, Young Ree, Weatherwise, NoWhere, and others TBA. Stay tuned. These will mostly be free gimmes at shows. So you’ll need to come to shows.

The official Lion Dog Records Label Launch Party will be held at Liquid Lounge on 3.29.08. Performing will be The Slack, Pet Hospital, Beauxregard, and Land Mammals.

Pet Hospital will perform in support of The Bright at the House of Blues Cambridge Room on 3.22.08. This will be The Bright’s official CD Release Party.

Land Mammals will be going into the studio on April 17 to record their debut e.p. It will be produced by Quincy from Beauxregard. Keep an ear out.

Lion Dog will somewhat represent Beauxregard going forward, working with them on their debut release, on booking, and on special projects. In addition, we will be producing some LDR projects in Quincy’s studio.

Pet Hospital had their CD release party tonight at Hailey’s in Denton. Ella Minnow and Beauxregard supported. Unfortunately, Band of Horses played just down the way, and they stole our crowd.  It still kicked ass, though.
